Using this STAUB cocotte you will succeed in preparing delicious and at the same time healthy stews in style. It consists of cast iron and is coated with matt black enamel on the inside. Cast iron is particularly suitable for braising because it stores heat for a long time and releases it slowly and evenly. This braising effect is further enhanced by the enamel coating. Enamel is also extremely robust and durable. Its properties improve with every use of the cocotte.

In France, cocottes are therefore often passed on from one generation to the next in the family. The cocotte is graphite grey in colour and has a diameter of 16cm and a height of 10cm. Thanks to a capacity of 1.2 l, it is also suitable for entertaining several guests.

A cast iron cocotte can be used on any hob and even on an induction hob. If cast iron is cooled, it heats up slowly, so such a pot is also suitable for cooled food, just put it in the refrigerator for a while. This cocotte also convinces renowned chefs. Whether beginner or professional, with this casserole you can easily create the most delicious dishes.
