Terrific location! A very easy walk from the main train station, extremely convenient walk to the winter markets. Breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of items to choose from and plentiful. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were spotlessly clean. My only negative is that the bed was a little firm for my liking, but I am noticing that most are firm here in France, and this is more a preference than a fault. I would definitely return and would recommend Hotel Mercury Colmar to anyone looking to visit Colmar, I had a wonderful stay!

It's like a fairytale city which I always wanted to visit.
It's like a fairytale city which I always wanted to visit. It's so quiet and nice.
For dinner the restaurants are open from 7 pm to 9:30 pm or latest 10 pm.
Prices are a bit too high though. Around 25 euros only for the main dish for a person.
There are not coffee specialty places. Wherever I bought a cappuccino it was not the best, quite average I would say if you are a coffee lover.

Colmar is in a great location for people interested in the wineries of Alsace. We booked a private wine tour and visited several beautiful old villages and three wineries. I highly recommend this activity. We also highly recommend the Unterlinden Museum (the Issenheim Altarpiece is amazing) and the Bartholdi Museum. If you are able to prepare your own meals, the covered market in Colmar is a great place to shop for local foods and produce and it is located near Little Venice, so it's a scenic stroll. We took the bus to see the replica Statue of Liberty and I wouldn't recommend this activity unless you have a car. The statue is situated on an extremely busy roundabout so we were unable to get close to it - I'm really not sure how people on Instagram managed to get their amazing photos. Finally, if you are travelling during Lent, check to see when the Colmar Carnaval is being held. We personally did not enjoy the noise and the crowds, but we weren't expecting it since we didn't know about the Carnaval before travelling.

Colmar is a charming place to visit, with fantastic dining options and wonderful stores, including clothing stores, shoe stores, art and antique shops as well as gourmet shops and grocery stores offering everything one could hope for. It is also convenient to other nearby destinations of interest, making it a good starting point as well as a nice place to come home to in the evening because of its multitude of bars, cafes and dining facilities. If you’re traveling with pets, please be aware the taxi cabs are not user friendly if you have dogs, large or small. We we forced to walked from the train station in rainstorms each way because we couldn’t get a taxi that would help us. And management at the Coton apartment leasing Group, while saying they would call us back when we asked for assistance, simply didn’t. They never called back.

Bathroom shower has black mold.
Bathroom shower has black mold. Towels all over the floor from previous reservation, dirty pillow case left in the bathroom, human hair on bathroom and sink. We complain to the receptionist and she state the will take care of the mold situation the next day. That never happened. Mold was in the shower for the entire stay. Day receptionist full of negative attitude. Key of bedroom stop working after every use. We have our keys re program several times a day( every time we enter the room card key need to be reprogram) Front receptionist Lady blaming us for carrying the card key in our pocket and messing up the card key
The hotel has mini appartments with space for 4 persons max. You could take the breakfast from the hotel of you could prepare it by yourself in the room because there is small kitchenette integrated with all what you need (refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, plates, cutlery, cups, pots and pans)
We took the breakfast from the hotel and was pretty good, well assorted and all fresh.
The hotel Is located at least 10 minutes walking distance from Colmar's centrum. There is also a supermarket pretty near to buy groceries.
The location was ideal, right in the heart of the city center with plenty of places to eat, see and enjoy. The apartment was spacious with plenty of needed supplies (including coffee-thank you!) as well as that sweet balcony. The bed was comfortable and the A/C not too loud (and very effective!) Parking was available (though we found street parking). Owner was very responsive and reached out to check that all was okay. It was such a fabulous place and made our last few days in France relaxing and enjoyable.
Extremely welcoming place. Lovely decorated, plenty of outside space. With a swimming pool. Friendly receptionist. Excellent breakfast. Next door to the Aeroclub De Colmar.
This hotel is practical and the best choice if travelling by car, because is situated away from the town centre. Local area is quite industrial and suburban. Please be aware of extra local tax to be paid. And please be aware that triple adults room don’t exist all the rooms are double with an extra tiny bed.
Clean and practical hotel.
It is a residence for the elderly (not like a hotel), but the people working there are all very friendly and hospitable.
I received my own keycard with which I could enter and leave the building whenever I liked.
The location is perfect: at walking distance from Colmar Station, right at the edge of Colmar's city centre, within 5 min of the central bus hub (Colmar Theatre) and supermarkets.
I loved the spacious shower and the kitchen equipment is excellent (electric stove and a good frying pan).
We liked the James Boutique Hôtel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast with freshly made "Jus d'Orange", delicious bread (especially the brioche!) and local cheese and meat was great! Unfortunately, there is a noisy street just in front of the hotel as well as a new building-site. Very comfortable, therefore, was the parking lot just around the corner and the short walk to the old town of Colmar with many restaurants, bars and shopping places.
The hotel is at the edge of downtown Colmar, literally. The hotel outside is not nice but inside the lobby it is cozy and the staff is very kind. Good that over the corner the passage leads to the attractions in the heart of the city.
The rooms are very small but in France it is rather standard. The bed was extra large and very comfortable. Although the window looked at the street, it was quiet. Breakfast was not four star but acceptable.
Very nice and clean hotel close to the train station but also to the city center, only 15 min walking. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In the room you have everything you need, toiletries and also slipers. It was a surprise to find out that, what is in the mini bar, is included in the price room. In conclusion, a good stay to visit Colmar.
The hotel is very clean and the receptionists are so friendly and nice! It’s one of the best hotels I have been to. Highly recommend people who want to have good experience in Colmar choose this hotel. Even though the hotel is a little bit far from the train station (around 30 mins walk), I still want to visit Colmar again and stay in Kyriad!
This is an exceptional property located in the heart of Colmar, France. The host contacts you via Text or WhatsApp to let you know exactly how to the get to the property and retrieve the keys from the lock box. The property is modern inside with an exceptional view of the Cathedral Market area. This is a must book for the Christmas Market!
Hotel was beautifully clean and well maintained. It was easy to find for the independent traveller and conveniently situated for visiting the centre of the old town of Colmar being just a ten minute easy walk into town from the hotel
The staff were all very friendly and there was a good food choice available at breakfast.
The location of this hotel is walkable to the historic old town Colmar. The staff was extremely friendly.
We asked for recommendations for dinner and they made reservation at the place next door. The food was very good! If we go back to Colmar we will revisit Paul & Pia😉
The check in process was very fast. Reception team was very quick to answer all my queries. The cleanliness of the room is pretty good in my opinion. As for communications, its really clear. I would recommend to people who is visiting Colmar to stay in this hotel.
Unbeatable price! So convenient if you have a car. It takes only a few minutes to drive to Colmar (we park at Rapp Parking in Colmar). The hotel looks out to the highway, it can be a bit noisy but no problem at all once you close the window. Highly recommend.
This hotel is super closed to the city centre and have a super nice vibe and atmostphere. The breakfast was really nice and the bedroom was cool and confortable. We will go back when in Colmar for sure.
We stayed one night during Holiday season. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.
Recommending this hotel if you are looking for reasonable prices for a room just a couple of kms from old town Colmar.
The location is amazing, right in the centre of Colmar Old Town. All places of interest are within walking distance. The hotel is pretty and quiet. There is a parking place within 4 minutes walking.
Rooms were compact, but had everything you need plus more Clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was excellent, short walk to centre of Colmar. Onsite parking was excellent.
Location is 10/10 you can walk to everything, everyone is speaking English (first hotel I stayed in France that people spoke English), beds were excellent.
