Wonderful skin serum
This serum feels wonderful on the skin. I’ve left reviewing until having used it for more than a week to see if there was any negative or positive effects. I’ve had no side effects at all, I’ve been careful with holding it at a distance and using it every morning after daily skin routine. I’m not keen on rose scents but this one is so subtle and the overall fragrance is a clean floral scent. It feels great on the skin, it doesn’t feel tight, greasy or dry. It’s a lovely mist that gives a healthy glow. I didn’t feel any skin cooling affect, rather it feels fresh and moisturised. I’ve tried it on top of my makeup too and it just freshens the look. A little goes a long way too!

    This comes as a spray mist bottle in a smart-looking box. My experience of skin serums is that they are usually lightly oily or creamy but this is a water-based spray even though it contains flower oils and the white truffle. The instructions remind you to shake the bottle before use, to mix the two phases, and you can visibly see the separation of the two layers at the top of the bottle once it’s been left to stand. The top layer though, which is going to be the oils is a tiny fraction of the whole, which makes me question just how much of these oils is actually in the mixture.
    That said, if you’re looking for something much lighter than your average serum then this might be exactly what you’ve been looking for?
    The mist spray comes out very fine and light and absorbs instantly into my skin. At first I felt it had just disappeared into nothing and I applied a second spritz. After the second application I noticed a nice fresh glow to my skin, and my skin certainly feels soft, I’m just not sure how hydrating and moisture-locking it’s going to be for the deeper layers of my skin, or if it’s just having a superficial effect.
    It is certainly pleasant to use, with a light scent of rose. I think perhaps I’ll keep it for morning use and stick to my usual serums for night use.

    I love all of the D'alba products. I have used the majority of them, and i have gone through 4 bottles of the original first serum spray so was desperate to catch this version on the prime day offer. i have only used it once so far but i had high hopes and my expectations were 100% met. This gives more of a soothing and glowy finish once absorbed so perfect for no makeup days, or a light base prior to make up application. I am a tretinoin/Retinal A user, and this will be perfect for those days where my skin is a little on the dry side to keep that glow and plump looking skin shining through.
    Once again, another stunning product from D'alba. Please never change, these are just superb
