It’s time to honour the dogs of the world and shine a spotlight on those who deserve it. They are bright, characterful and remarkable and our wine is no different. Highly protected harvest to keep all the grape aromatic precursors. Short maceration, in contact with the skins, followed by light pressing. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at temperatures kept in the range of 12 °C to 16 °C to maximize aromas. The nose is lifted and fragrant with passionfruit and citrus notes. On the palate - tropical and herbaceous flavours with a crisp finish. Serve with vegetable wraps, fish & chips, grazing boards and good company. Serve chilled on its own or with food - perfect for any occasion. Makes a great gift for dog lovers

Lovely citrus flavour
Very nice Australian wine that has all the character of Dennis Lillee, the charm of The Saints and has aged better than Paul Hogan. Yes, this white wine really is a corker, fit to bursting with citrus notes that invade the mouth before swallowing. It is a screw top so no bottle opener needed. Personally I drink this with chicken and roast potatoes but it will go equally well with just about anything really. The colour is paler than most wines but it gives it a classy shimmer in the summer heat. One can certainly imagine to this to be a staple of barbecues up and down the country over the next few months, not least because it is reasonably priced at 9 pounds per bottle. I can hear the glasses clinking already...

    A pleasant tasting Sauv Blanc that went down well with our family chicken dinner.
    Will only buy again if it's on discount as quality wise it doesn't justify the £9 price tag in my opinion.

    I’m not a wino (is that the correct term?). I can’t wax lyrical about wine and how it tastes like golden rays of sun on a glorious autumn's eve on the French Riviera. What I can tell you is that this isn’t bad but it is far from great.

    I’ve never heard of this brand before but I’m loving the logo and the labelling on this bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Whilst I don’t feel that this is the be all and end all in white wines it is not unpleasant and sits happily alongside the likes of Tesco’s own or Hardy’s. It’s that level of wine.

    £9 is probably about right for a bottle of this…

    The white wine has a citrusy and crisp finish.

    'Wondrous' spirit.
    The bottle has the picture of 'BUD' - 'the first dog across America by car'. BUD was Horatio Nelson Jackson's companion, and the two of them were the first to drive a car across the United States.

    Good taste and price for the bottle.

    This is a lovely wine which is crisp and has a good flavour. I would say it is up there with the best Australian wines. It is a pleasure to sip on a summer's evening. The only thing I would say is that it is at the higher end of the price scale but overall I would say it was worth it. This would make a decent addition to your wine shelf or for a present for any occasion.

    Supplied in a strong Amazon alcohol box so very well packed, this Leaps and Bounds Sauvignon Blanc is an Australian take on the Sauvignon grape. Opening the bottle after it had been chilled and having a decent sniff around the top, there is the scent of citrus, though I could detect no herbal notes. When poured it is a very pale wine and having a sip confirms there are citrus flavours in the slightly sharp initial tasting, but again I couldn’t really find herbal flavours. A few sips in and I think it is a little thin in terms of the body and it tends to be there in the mouth then gone, no lingering taste or flavours at the back of the throat, though it is a quite acidic.

    We finished the bottle and whilst I would consider it inferior to some bigger brand name bottles in the £9-10 range, it wasn’t terrible by any means – but in my eyes it sits in the £6-7 bracket. I find New Zealand and some French Sauvignon wines suit my palate more than those from Australia and Chile – as always your own personal tastes my find this more to your liking.
