Un Jardin en Mediterranée by Hermès is a unisex "Eau de Toilette" with aquatic floral scents that tells the story of a beautiful journey along the beaches of the Mediterranean coast, a family trip, where we all enjoy love and wonderful landscapes, full of fruit trees such as orange, fig and red laurel trees.
This fragrance was created in 2003 by the perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena, who portrayed in this perfume the essence and personality of a person, not their sex. Recreating in a moment full of happiness, on some paradisiacal beach in Tunisia. Charismatic people and travelers, with a lot of love to give and a lot of desire to receive it. Fresh and natural souls, lovers of the casual and the small details that the day to day offers us.
In its aromatic wake, we find a beginning marked by tangerine, bergamot and lemon, fresh citric and fresh notes, which are gradually fused with orange blossom and white oleander flower; finally, close this cycle of olfactory cypress, fig and musk leaves, among others, newcomers notes of Mediterranean nature.

Hermes has hit the nail on the head when producing this perfume and the most incredible thing is that it looks great on both female and male skin. This is a true unisex. You can buy without fear. It's already my third bottle.
The top notes are strong but not as powerful as Un jardin sûr le Nil. It smells a lot of bergamot, mandarin, which gives it sweetness, and lemon top notes); and it smells like the sea, all the time ... but not obvious, nor like a beach, like eau de Rochas, but like a very friendly and warm hint like the Mediterranean. It gives way to the heart notes, soft white flowers full of freshness and delicacy. And sweet woody notes, grass (fig leaves give it a special sweet aroma), gin and a daring and very oriental touch such as pistachio, and, of course, musk. An aroma that puts you in a good mood and relaxes you (citrus aromas are very relaxing). I'm even wearing it at home for that reason. You could feel anywhere in the Mediterranean, but Jean-Claude Ellena places it in Tunisia. The duration is moderate, but it arrives very well at 6 hours. The wake is short. If I had to choose a song to describe this eau de toilette, it would undoubtedly be Le café des délices by Patrick Bruel, in duet with Amir ...
