Still one of the best

I've used up many, many tubes of this SPF. Its non-greasy, fluid texture makes it a dream for combination and oily skin types and Paula's Choice is a reputable science-led brand, so I trust this SPF to be effective. The reason I have dropped one star is because I don't think the product is necessarily the best choice for sensitive skin. My skin must have been going through a sensitive patch during the last tube I used, because I regularly came out in big red blotchy patches after applying this. It's back to normal service now - no adverse reaction - but I've learnt never to apply this on my upper eyelid, unless you want watery eyes all day. But if you have combination or oily skin I totally recommend it. It sits beautifully under makeup too.

Love this

I got this in an edit last year but have only just tried it during a city break to Spain. Perfect size for travelling light. I found it sank in well with no white cast & make up went on well on top. Have added the full size tube to my wishlist.

Ideal for summer

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I love Paula's Choice and have tried almost all of their SPFs. I have oily/combination skin so I need something that's hydrating but not too thick and heavy for the summer/warmer months, otherwise I break out. This one is quite runny, I was a little unsure about that at first, but then got used to it and it wasn't a problem. It absorbs well and you can apply several layers without it pilling. I don't use makeup or serums so I'm not sure how it would react with other products. Also, during the summer, it is hydrating enough for my skin, I only use this in the morning. Only when it gets colder outside, then the hydration is not enough anymore and I have to get something thicker. And it's scent free! Would buy again for summer.

Rare case of a good sunscreen from the States

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

This lotion doesn't irritate my eyes and don't make them water unlike most of American sunscreens that use older generation uv filters. The texture is light and comfortable. But there's nothing to write home about when compared to Korean spfs or those that we can get from the drugstore in Europe.
