Did you know that intestinal problems such as constipation and diarrhoea can occur due to impaired intestinal flora?

OptiFibre is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for diet management in case of impaired function of the colon for nutrient absorption and excretion in diarrhoea (diarrhea) and fruit ipation (constipation).

What is the meaning of "food for special medical purposes"? Foods for special medical purposes are among the foods developed for patients whose nutrient needs cannot be covered by the consumption of normal foods due to certain diseases, disorders or specific complaints.

Why the stomach squeezes again and again

You also suffer from digestive problems that occur over and over again, such as e.g. a sluggish or irritated intestine, constipation or diarrhoea? Digestive complaints can have numerous causes. One of these can be a disturbed intestinal flora.

A possible cause of intestinal problems.

The intestinal flora is as unique as a fingerprint. It consists of up to 1,000 bacterial strains and is also responsible for functioning nutrient absorption and nutrient elimination.

Creates within the intestinal flora (e.g. due to external influences) an imbalance, it can lead to a malfunction of the colon in the absorption and excretion of nutrients, especially water and electrolytes. This can manifest itself in the affected by symptoms such as constipation or diarrhoea.

What is OptiFibre

OptiFibre is made from PHGG*, a soluble powder made from the seeds of the guar plant. How can OptiFibre help.

PHGG* serves the "useful" (physiological) intestinal bacteria as a food source and energy supplier – so they can multiply in the colon by the "useful" (physiological) intestinal bacteria breaks down into short-chain fatty acids, which contribute to a reduction of the pH value – the number of "undesirable" bacteria is reduced. .
