Powered by the brand's patented Bond Building Technology and Broad-Spectrum Clarifying System, this cleanser removes damaging impurities (AKA excess oil, product build-up, chlorine, hard water minerals, heavy metals and pollutants) from the surface of the hair without stripping or drying. The result? More colour vibrancy and tresses that are soft and shiny. And just to make sure your scalp (and strands) maintains optimal hydration, this mane hero is pH balanced .
Dispense desired amount of product into hands and emulsify. Apply to wet hair, focusing on the scalp and working through to ends. Lather fully and leave on for up to five minutes. Rinse.

Super clarifying
This shampoo is very clarifying and therefore very stripping to the hair. Great if you need a super thorough clean, your hair will be left stripped and “squeaky” though.

Won't repurchase
Not sure about this. I love Olaplex products normally and have most of the steps disappointed with this one, It leaves my hair feeling so dry! - I know that tends to be the case with clarifying shampoos but this is no different. I will try to use it up but won't buy again. I still love the brand!

Great to clarify
I use this once a week to deep cleanse my hair and scalp. It initially feels a bit drying but if you leave on slightly less than the 5m recommended it’s perfect for my dry hair. Conditioner and masks really soak in after this. An essential in my routine.
