To combat the backflow of stomach acid, there is Gaviscon Dual! With alginate, its plant active ingredient, it forms a protective barrier and can thus counteract heartburn.

Symptoms

Typical symptoms of heartburn are pungent pain in the chest and throat area, which are often associated with acid burping. It occurs when stomach acid flows back into the esophagus and can affect us uncomfortably in everyday life.

Causes:

The rise of stomach acid can have different causes that differ from person to person. So a weakened spinal muscle between the stomach and esophagus can be as responsible as an unfavourable diet.

Recommended foods for heartburn are predominantly basic foods that keep the acid-base balance in balance. These include whole grain products, low-fat dairy products, low-fat meat, native oils, salads, herbs, carbonated drinks and easily digestible vegetables.

Algae against heartburn?

Of course! Gaviscon Dual is based on a mechanical principle with the active ingredient alginate. This is vegetable based and is derived from brown algae. When the alginate comes into contact with the stomach acid, it swells up and forms a gel-like protective barrier.

This prevents aggressive stomach acid from flowing back into the esophagus, reducing heartburn. The alginate is not absorbed into the blood circulation and after the duration of action is excreted over the intestine.

Die Tabletten kamen zügig und gut verpackt bei uns an. Sie haben einen angenehmen Minze Geschmack und lassen sich relativ gut zerkauen. Aber es bildet sich halt ein zäher Brei der gut und gern an den Zähnen hängen bleibt. Die Wirkung ist sehr zufriedenstellend und bleibt dem versprochenen Effekt in nichts nach. Aber auch hier ist denke ich klar zu sagen bei längerem Sodbrennen unbedingt mal zu seinem Hausarzt gehen und alles abklären. Passt auf euch auf und bleibt gesund ! Wärmstens zu empfehlen...

    Lang anhaltende Linderung von Sodbrennen:
    Eines der herausragenden Merkmale dieser Kautabletten ist ihre Fähigkeit, Sodbrennen effektiv zu bekämpfen und Linderung zu bieten. Dies ist besonders wichtig für Menschen, die gelegentlich unter Magenbeschwerden leiden.

    Geschmacklich in Ordnung:
    Was den Geschmack betrifft, so finde ich die Kautabletten völlig akzeptabel. Sie sind angenehm genug, um sie problemlos einzunehmen, ohne unangenehm zu schmecken.
