Bland
Was slightly sweet but mostly lacked flavour. Definitely not worth the money.
very good
Super yum
quite dry, not as good as what I expected
You can get better brioche from other supermarkets
NOT AS GOOD..
Just made eggie bread with this brioche and it lacked the richness of the other brand I usually buy from Ocado. I wont buy again.
Perfect just lightly toasted
Delicious. Not like the longlife brioche you buy with chocolate chips in, and also not like the French brioche we used to get with the baking paper still stuck on. This is closer to brioche meets wonderbread (but not like Japanese milk bread). A tad too dry and boring straight from the bag, but just the lightest toasting, and it needs nothing else, no butter, jam or honey. Perfect for a little mid afternoon snack, or to grab for breakfast while your making the first coffee of the morning. No sticky fingers, and reasonable life (1 week), and you can always freeze it if you can’t get through the loaf fast enough before it goes off. Not an awful price for an enriched loaf, but obviously better when on sale.
Sweet and Buttery
Perfect for pain perdu, a sweetened vanilla eggy bread. A versatile and sinfully flavourful bread, it can be used to prepare almost anything that calls for a great bread. Toasted with jam into a brioche bun, grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. The original burger was served on a sweet bread which was lightly toasted so this is also good for your burgers.
